Day 01: MANILA – AUCKLAND DEPARTURES

Day 02: ARRIVAL – AUCKLAND (Dinner)

On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', you will be met by our Coach Captain to proceed to transfer to your hotel for check-in and then dinner. Check into the Grand Millennium Auckland / Sky City hotel or Similar

Day 03: AUCKLAND FULL DAY CITY TOUR (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning we start at Mount Eden, an extinct volcano with views of Auckland city. Continue to the Parnell village & Rose Gardens and then to the Auckland Domain Park and view the magnificent Museum building. Carry on down to Mission Bay and to Tamaki Drive and then back to the Auckland city center. see The Sky Tower located at the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets is 328 metres tall, making it the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Take the Optional ride to the Sky Tower observation deck where you can see 360 degree views over Auckland city and the beautiful Waitemata harbour. This afternoon we will give you some free time to shop or explore the city on your own. There are many shops and cafes around Queen street and the surrounding downtown area for you to enjoy or you may just want to enjoy a quiet drink relaxing overlooking the beautiful Harbour.

Day 04: AUCKLAND WAITOMO CAVE - ROTORUA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Travel south to arrive at Waitomo. Discover your moment of magic in the Waitomo Glow worm Caves tour one of New Zealand’s best known natural attractions. Discover an ancient world 30 million years in the making and marvel at Mother Nature’s light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glow worm Grotto. The glow worm is unique to New Zealand. See thousands of these tiny creatures as they radiate their unmistakable luminescent light in a subterranean world. Enjoy your BBQ lunch. Then continue over the Mamaku Ranges, which is extensively forested, with the Kaimai-Mamaku State Forest and Kinleith Forest both covering a considerable part of them, to reach the “Thermal City” of Rotorua. Day 05: ROTORUA HOBBITON ROTORUA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning we departed Rotorua to the township of Matamata. Experience the real Middle-earth at the Hobbiton Movie Set tour, where, in the heart of the Waikato region, you can step into the lush pastures of the Shire, as seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. Your guide will escort you around the set showing the intricate detailing, pointing out the most famous locations and explaining how the movie magic was made. You will be fully guided around the 12 acre set; past Hobbit Holes, the Mill and into the world-famous Green Dragon™ Inn, where you will be presented with a complimentary Hobbit beverage to conclude your own Middle-earth adventure and Buffet lunch is included. After lunch we return back to Rotorua and gain an insight into New Zealand's Māori culture at Te Puia and experience Rotorua's geothermal activity with a tour of the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley - a place where mud pools bubble and boil and the famous Pohutu Geyser shoot steam 30m high into the air. You'll also visit the New Zealand Maori and Crafts institute where you can watch carvers and weavers carry out the traditions of their Maori ancestors and see how these ancient Māori art forms are being passed on to a new generation of master artists.

Day 06: ROTORUA/DEPARTURE GOING TO CHRISTCHURCH/CHRISTCHURCH CITY TOUR (Breakfast/Dinner)

Arrive in Christchurch, this is a city of exploration, where urban regeneration and heritage thrive. The central city is filled with cutting-edge architecture alongside some of the oldest buildings in New Zealand. Known as the garden city, visit the beautiful botanical gardens with the Avon River bringing a natural landscape to the urban environment. Christchurch is the basecamp for South Island exploration, with the Banks Peninsula within reach, as well as the stunning Southern Alps and famed Canterbury Plains. Day 07: CHRISTCHURCH - MT COOK - LAKE TEKAPO (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains before arriving at Lake Tekapo. The settlement of Lake Tekapo is at the southern end of the lake. The Church of the Good Shepherd and the sheepdog statue are great photo opportunities. Continue to Mt Cook, or as known in Maori 'Aoraki” the cloud piercer. We recommend you take the Optional 20min helicopter scenic flight with snow landing from the helicopter base in Glen Tanner. Mt Cook is one of New Zealand's most popular tourist destinations and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and walks from the Mt Cook Hermitage hotel. Day 08: LAKE TEKAPO - ARROWTOWN - QUEENSTOWN (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Today you travel to Queenstown, New Zealand’s premier alpine resort, nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu beneath the majestic Remarkables range. The first stop is Cromwell and visit Mrs Jones fruit store where you can buy fresh or dried fruits Then proceed to Lake Wakatipu and the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown, one of New Zealand's most exciting destinations. Surrounded by towering mountains, positioned on the edge of a lake, Queenstown is a hub of adventure, thrumming with adrenaline and an omnipresent sense of fun. Take the Skyline Gondola ride up Bob’s peak and enjoy a wonderful Western dinner while immersing yourself in spectacular panoramic views of Queenstown and the surrounding. Day 09: MILFORD SOUND FULL DAY TOUR & CRUISE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breathtaking man made Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km-long tunnel through solid rock. Before the tunnel opened in 1954 after 19 years of construction, there was no road access to Milford Sound. Passing through the tunnel and seeing the steep, winding road leading down through the Cleddau Valley is nothing short of breathtaking. Take your Real Journeys Milford Sounds Cruise and enjoy your Western lunch on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown for accommodation.

Day 10: QUEENSTOWN (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Arrowtown is a charming and delightful historic gold rush village nestled below the beautiful peaks that surround the sparkling Arrow River. The heart of its history is Buckingham Street, a procession of small town heritage buildings that stretch into a tree lined avenue of tiny miners’ cottages. Today is a full day in Queenstown and an opportunity to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown has a big reputation for outdoor adventure activities such as bungy-jumping and jet boating, but Queenstown also offers a wide range of experiences such as great shopping, dining, spas and golf courses are relaxing alternatives for passing the time.
